The E1488CA has been involved in the of the development and creation of the District though public meetings and a survey. Though the District has yet to be ratified by the voters, SMCID Board members continue to look for ways to address local issues through the District. The E1488CA will work with the District to provide information to members about how the District can improve area quality of life and will take members’ issues and questions back to the SMCID Board to aid in the District’s plan development.
Quadvest: Member subdivisions Lake Windcrest and Sendera Ranch have taken the lead on this issue and continue to negotiate with Quadvest (who provide water for several member communities) about their proposed rate increases. We expect an update soon.
